And then there were four.

He's here.

Meet Coen Kwasi Roberts, my newest grandson! All the way from Ghana, Africa!
He is nineteen months old. (Just thirteen months younger than his brother, Carter.)

We gathered at the airport to meet them upon arrival, and there were happy tears all around.
Celebratory delivery pizza at home followed, and the family began the happy task of settling into a routine of bath and bedtime, and ...ooooooooooooooooooh!

It was one of those far-too-few-moments in life where you just kinda sigh and think, "Every little thing is gonna be all right."

  29. What lovely photos! Thanks for sharing! I know that international adoption involves a lot of time, stress, commitment and devotion. Your daughter and son-in-law are to be commended for making this happen! I hope the transition for little Coen (and the entire family!) goes smoothly and then...let the good times roll!
PS The entire family is beautiful but your son-in-law has such an engaging smile! I see where Carter gets it! And Coen! While he won't share physical traits with his parents, he can always say, "I got my love from my Dad and my heart from my Mom!". Best wishes to all!
